    USAK website trouble?

Anyone know what's going on with the http://www.usakilts.com/ website? I can't seem to get it to load at all (as if it doesn't exist).

I can't access it either. Maybe Rocky didn't pay his bills last month. You might try sending him a PM or email.

It seems our hosting company is having some problems... which means WE have problems with the site and email. Not sure what the deal is right now, but I'll look into it first thing Monday Morning.

If you'd like to make a purchase, drop me a line at the shop: 610.935.3444

Apparently, "theplanet" (a company that has a LOT of servers) had a fire or something and all their servers are down. This effects us and 9500 other clients that were hosted on their servers. They SAY that the problem SHOULD be resolved today... we'll see.

BTW... our new site is only in the infancy design stages right now... won't be done for 2 months or so.

I've got a server at The Planet also. Transformer blew up, knocked out three walls, and blew a hole in the floor.

The good news is that the 2nd floor (6000 servers) is powered up and online (after about 35 hours offline). The bad news is the 1st floor (3000 servers) will need emergency recabling (as underground power cables were destroyed), and is not expected to be online until this evening.

I'm guessing, given that you are still offline, that your server is on the 1st floor and will be offline most of the day. It also sounds like you will be running on diesel backup generators all week, with full repair at the weekend. So you'll probably have another period being offline next weekend when you are reconnected to the utility power.

More electrical contractors than I've seen together in one place in a long while! Hope they don't send you the bill for the overtime, Rocky.

Our hosting is through "lowesthosting.com" and they use "the planet's" servers... not hapy with the whole situation, but I can't do much about it, so I try to ignore the fact I can't check emails and communicate with the outside world. MAN this stinks.
