    Richard,

Those are both pretty neat looking kilts. But I really do like the Hunting Stewart.

No, I was going to get the Black Stewart and the Hunting later. After I saw your Hunting I flipped and ordered the Hunting. The Black is the one that I also kept thinking about so I just ordered it (without telling the wife!). After she saw it on me last night (she took the photo) she admitted that it was a good looking kilt and that it would probably be a good semi-formal or formal kilt also.

You are looking good Richard. Your colour co-ordination is first class, especially with that Black Stewart ensemble. Well done!

Enjoy wearing them both - as I know you will.

Thanks for the comment Ham. I've got a wild hair to try the Black Stewart with a red dress long sleeve shirt, black tie, my black tailored Argyle coat but I'm torn on the hose. Black with red flashes, red hose with black flashes or white hose with black flashes and black shoes. I am leaning toward the white with black flashes for the traditional type look but I can't put it together in my head as yet.

Or, do you think it would be too much?

    Just and ideal...

I'd go with black hose with red flashes, but that's me.

    Hose choices...

Personally, I think I'd go with black as well. Either that, or a dark red... Off-white always seems to look kinda strange with black shoes, unless you're doing the full highland dress... Give me darker hose...
