I'd like to know how the pleating was done for the Saltire Flag Kilt to get the "X" in the pleats.

It's a "trick" in the WEAVING process. The company that patented the process has HOE weave the fabric and will ONLY sell finished kilts (won't sell the material). for those who understand weaving and kiltmaking, it's pretty impressive.

Aha! Specially woven so that the pattern only shows as it does when the pleating is done. It's quite beautiful and impressive.
