Smile Whew ... The jones has ended!

Ordering a traditional 8 Yard PV from USA Kilts: $240.00
Buying a new pair of kilt hose and flashes: $35.00
Deciding on a new Kilt belt: $40.00
The feel of a new USA Kilt, and admiring yourself in front of a mirror: Priceless

Received a call from the USA Kilt World HQ from Mr Customer Service himself, Rocky, letting me know my kilt was on the sewing table and confirming set patterns and such before needle was put to fabric.

Being near enough, I stopped by the shop on Monday afternoon and picked up my beautiful 8 yard traditional PV in Mackay. To say that I am impressed would be an understatement. The quality is amazing, and the customer service beyond words. The wait was worth every minute!

I would highly recommend that anyone who is on the fence and just not sure, go ahead and take the plunge with USA Kilts, it would be well worth your hard earned money. Of course if you happen to stop by the USAKilts World HQ, be prepared to really feel the pain as you will undoubtedly want just about everything you see. :-)

By the way, USA Kilts has some very nice Argyll jackets for sale at a very good price. They did not have one in my size, but the selection was good and the prices and customer service will keep bringing you back for more!

Thanks again to both Kelly and Rocky ... you made my day!

Thanks all .....

I was VERY, VERY selective in ultimately choosing USA Kilts to make my kilt for a number of reasons, amongst them was the fact that they had in stock a great ancient Mackay tartan that made a fantastic kilt. I have seen many Mackay tartans, and must say that the PV colors for the ancient Mackay are strong and crisp. I had originally wanted to see if the weathered or blue Mackay would be available, but was so only in 16 oz wool. I saw a kilt in Mackay Blue, and am still just not sure yet on that one. I will have photos available as soon as this weekend. I would HIGHLY recommend going through USA Kilts for your PV kilt.

Mine should soon be over too. Rocky told me when I ordered mine that he would put a "June 3rd date for completion, since i needed it by the 10th for the Potomac Celtic festival. I hope it arrives soon!

Hearing about how much people love their kilts from USA or Bear is making the jonesing even worse (If ya can imagine it)...I have a Philibeg in Black Watch on order with those fine folks at USA Kilts, and a Bear Kilt in MacKay on the way...I'd like to order another kilt, but I'm stuck on deciding on a tartan...ah well, patience is a virtue...

And virtues will hurt you...Rocky and Kelly, as well as many of the others makers here turn out a fine product. I have 5 from USAK myself and not to far from pulling the trigger on another. My problem isn't which tartan but which maker is next...so many kiltmakers and so little money.
