XMTS Featured Sponsor for the Month of September-USA KILTS!

The owner and staff of X Marks the Scot are proud to present our featured sponsor for the Month of September…

    USA KILTS!

    www.usakilts.com

USA Kilts and XMTS have developed, grown, and prospered together. Some of our more seasoned members might remember watching it all happen in those early days of XMTS.

USA Kilts started in 2003 as a 'hobby business' and within 6 months, it grew into a full fledged (full time) occupation for it’s owners. Rocky started with a knowledge of retail and customer service. When Kelly entered into the picture with her background in sewing and creating custom clothing, USA Kilts really started to grow. Together their love of kilts have made USA Kilts a great success. They have outgrown a number of buildings and websites over the years.

And USA Kilts continues to grow.

Rocky and Kelly stand by a simple set of ideals for their company:

Provide a quality product, in a timely manner, at a reasonable price.

USA Kilts has a full range of Highland dress and Rocky and Kelly offer several different packages that will fit almost any budget. They take pride in the kilts they make and all the accessories they offer. As a kilt wearer himself Rocky only makes and sells products that he himself would be confident and proud to wear.

While they are famous for their poly-viscose casual and semi-traditional kilts, they also love working with wool tartans and tweeds. Any search through our forum will find numerous positive reviews about the quality of USA Kilts products and service.

Not just content to sew tartans, Rocky and Kelly developed and registered many different tartans for USA Kilts, inluding (but not limited to) American Heritage Tartan , Firefighters Memorial Tartan, German American Tartan , German Heritage Tartan, Law Enforcement Officers Memorial tartan, the Dropkick Murphys tartan and the Mary Stewart, Queen of Scots tartan,

More details on some of these can be found here:

    http://www.usakilts.com/registered_tartans.php

We would like to thank Rocky, Kelly, and the staff of USA Kilts for supporting X Marks the Scot and wish them continued success.

I'm a proud owner of a Stewart Black kilt tailored by USA Kilts. I attest to the fine quality of the craftsmanship and outstanding customer service! I have a Robertson Red high on my wishlist.

    Guys and Gals,

We're honored to be the Featured Sponor of the Month for September. Kelly and I would like to thank everyone up here for their friendships and patronage and helping our small company grow.

As part of that growth, we're outgrowing our current website! The new site is about 95% finished, and HOPEFULLY will be fully finished this coming week. Once it's pretty much ready to go, we're going to give XMARKS members a link to the new site's test server. We'll ask anyone who wants to help to go to the new site and check the pics, links, spelling, etc and make sure the site is fully functional and working properly and that we don't have any "errors".

We'll give a "grand prize" of a Casual Kilt to the person who we deem gives us the BIGGEST assistance with the new site (could be dozens of little errors or a couple BIG ones).

We'll also give a discount code to EVERYONE who participates for 30% off any accessory (anything except for the kilts themselves) on the new site. The only stipulation will be that the discount code is for a limited time (probably 1 week when the new site goes "live") and you'll have to give us at least 1 "error" (not just an email saying, "I like the new site").

Thank you again to everyone up here for helping us grow and for helping to start so many friendships.

I'd like to add a big "thank you" to Rocky and Kelly. They made it possible for a bunch of us here on X-Marks to get kilted in our service tartans, even though I'm reasonably certain our initial orders did not, in fact, cover the cost of the tartans being woven. So, from all the kilted Sodjers and Sailors, Rocky, Kelly, Thank you!

I echo everyone else- they came through for in a pinch.

    Jeez, who???

When I was steered to X Marks back in October '04 I began to read all this hype about Rocky and Kelly and USA kilts....yeah right....you guys gotta be shilling for these folks.

I put up with it for 11 months then broke down and ordered my first USA Kilt just to see what all the ooos and ahs were about.

Since that first kilt came in in September of '05 I've ordered 22 kilts from USA kilts.

Became a bit of a shill for them myself.

Why? Pure value rooted in quality and service.

If you're a kiltie and haven't tried at least one USA kilt you're doing yourself a disservice.

Wait..wait...what am I saying. If all them folks order up the jones time on my next USA kilt is gonna be longer.

Maybe if you all just visit the store and try a nice off-the-rack kilt....

I'll agree to all the aforementioned, but I admit, I only have my one Casual... but it is still superb. So here's a simple thanks to not only those 2 mentioned owners, but also to the employee who made my casual, so thank you too Mac.

I hope to do more business in the future... shame it'll be a ways away.

I've ordered items from USAK in the past and the service and product quality have always been outstanding.

I can't wait to see the new site
