Da Vinci Code Tartan a review

So All, I received my Da Vinci Code Tartan Freedom Kilt from Steve about a month ago. I have been absolutely crazy with work and have not been able to post a review.

At last, here it is. First let me say the tailoring is exquisite. Being the proud owner of 5 Tartan tanks, I am familiar with quality when it comes to a well made kilt. The attention to detail is outstanding. The features I am most impressed by are the pleats, buckle and belt loop placement, as well as the pockets. I opted for a right hand slot pocket and a passport pocket on the apron. These are ingenious.

So I give it a 5 out of 5 stars. I am already thinking about another.

Cheers, Steve.

That's a very nice tartan, but I have to ask: why did you get the Da Vinci Code tartan?

A mill in scotland was goung out of business and I liked the Tartan. I wear a kilt everyday and like to mix it up. Plus it is different, not the typical everyday red and green.

Very nice tartan indeed, it almost looks like the Angus District.

Nice outfit. The hose and garter ties are a great combo.

Thanks! They are Connemara Wool Shooting Socks and Merino Wool Shooting Garters. The Garters are identical to one for sale at the Scottish Tartan Museum.

Nice tartan. It looks great on you. Are other mills making this tartan or was it just the one that went out of business?
