Wow! I hadn't seen those hose before. I like them more than any other I've seen because they have a very simple top. IMO, that enables them to blend in best with a casual kilt outfit (which is how I dress most of the time).

Steve,

I have hinted(told) my wife about the oatmeal heritage as I've been told that they would go with just about any kilt colour.

I'm hoping she'll be in to see you before xmas. If not, you'll see me after.

OK< ..after starting to read this thread, I did a quick search of the Freedom Kilt website, but the "accessories" page is still not functional - and then, coming back to this thread, I found Steves post & info ( you really need to get the rest of your website 'up & running' Steve).
Starting a new piggy bank, for a couple pair of these kilt hose!

After reading this post I ordered a pair of the hose, but when I got them in the post they were WAAAAAAAY too long. Even folding the tops down and back up again left them up at my knee, if not above. They were beautifully made and I'm sure they would have been incredibly warm and great to wear. I was disappointed that I had to send them back to the other side of the continent.

How can anyone have shorter legs than Jamie?! All his length is in his torso, my legs are about 5-6 inches longer than his and I'm 3 inches shorter!

Be well,

Hey now! Is there a vertically-challenged kilty group I can join? Maybe I should trade in my flat cap for a fez to gain a bit of altitude.

Though I was honestly surprised when they didn't fit. All the other hose I have fit fine if I fold them down and then back up again. The heritage hose fit my feet fine, but seemed to be made to stork-like proportions up top.
