Freedom Riverkilt Desert Camo Review

What can I say! I received Ron's hand me down this afternoon. He sure took great care of this unit. This is the very first of Steve's creations that I have seen and I like it! Very light and very wellbuilt, just the thing for hiding in the eastern Washington desert. It has lots of pockets and some unusual fasteners not unlike the old timey blue jeans fasteners. I am somewhat concerned though that I may appear to vanish from the waist down once I step out of the greenery. This is only my second "modern" kilt the other being a UK Workman and as much as I like the UK, I just have to "cry Freedom!' for the comfort and the design and workmanship. I will get another! Steve, this summer on one of my trips to Sequim I'll be taking the ferry from Port Angeles over to see you for a professional measurement and to order another of these beauties.

Thanks to Ron for outgrowing it and thanks to my Brother XMarkers who didn't suck it before I got the chance.

I kind of wanted that one. Couldn't really validate the funds for it though. Glad to see it went to another Xmarker. Congrats.

Irishrob,

It's good to know that the kilt went to an X Marker and someone who will treasure it.
Thanks for the kind words.
Your welcome to Victoria any time. Just give us a quick call to let us know you are coming and time enough for us to lock the shop and hide in the back.
