| | | Perhaps the World's First ABU Kilt?
I've sent off the fabric and placed my order... an Airman Battle Uniform (Digital Tiger Stripe) Cargo Kilt. This should be a sharp looking kilt. I'll keep ya'll posted. |

I'll try to do a photo montage of this kilt as I make it. That should keep the jones going real good.

Thanks Steve. The Post Lady says you should expect the material in 5-10 days... and that Vancouver is very far away from Florida. No problems with customs on this side. |

Boy, I hope you didn't mail the fabric to Vancouver. I live in Victoria. Although on Vancouver Island the city of Victoria is a whole different place from the city of Vancouver. From Victoria about a 30 min drive followed by a 90 min ferry ride. Then depending on traffic it could take another hour driving to actually get to Vancouver.
Then three days going around to all the post offices looking for the package.

As an owner of four Freedom Kilts, I am sure you will be pleased. And contrary to popular belief, Steve is not THAT hard to deal with!

Good thing I saved the receipt from the post office... I did send it to Victoria. 4.5lbs of fabric on the way.

Do you two mind if I ask what the kilt is going to cost? I am interested in one of these myself. I have a desert Marpat x-kilt, but I think I would like the ABU kilt to be slightly more formal like George originally said.

I will be making this Kilt exactly the same as I make any other Cargo Model. I charge a flat rate of $205.00cdn for my labor.
If the customer wants Pockets they are $20.00cdn ea. and can be placed anywhere he wants.
The only other charge will be shipping. Cost for that depends on where you live. $26.50cdn will get it to anywhere in the US.
All this information is on my website.

I spent just over $50 for the fabric and $36 for shipping fabric to Canada.
