Self-imposed "jones"

My parents were on their way home from Peterborough, Ontario, visiting my brother and family, and who should be on the plane for the Calgary leg of their trip but Steve Ashton, on his way home from Palm Springs. He let them know that I have two kilts waiting for pick up at his shop.
Now, this is going to sound perverse, but I'm not going to make the 10 minute drive to Freedom Kilts to pick up my new kilts until early May.

Why? They are my reward for getting through another tax season (I'm an accountant). I ordered them a while ago, and asked Steve for a May 1 delivery date. I always give myself a present at the end of April, and this year it's going to be a traditional kilt in the Maple Leaf tartan, and a US Army ACU kilt. So, no reward until my work is done, but I am okay with the wait. Weird, eh?

Maybe I should post some pictures of the Kilts just to allow you suffer a little more.

Oh, yes pictures to increase the desire.

Also, though it is a bit perverse. There is nothing at all wrong with rewarding yourself for a job well done.

I'm trying to lose some weight, and when I hit the target, then the purse strings open wide to Kilt buying!!!!

Cheers,
Marshal Moroni

Ah, yes, but I won't suffer. Not much, I mean . . . I can tough it out . . . I think . . .
