    Steve's work...

Got to see one of Steve's kilts up close last weekend. A fellow Xmarker was sporting it (Xmarks PV tartan).
Very fine craftsmanship and the pockets are incredibly well thought out and executed -- very nearly invisible, even if you know that they are there. Truly traditional look with pockets -- what's not to like?
I didn't get a photo, but one is posted on the Clan MacTavish Facebook page.

Thank you sir. We can credit Jackson for making that kilt.

I was fortunate to meet up with David (DrummerBoy) at the Ohio Scottish Games. Here is a photo of he and I at the Clan MacTavish booth.

I am wearing the X Marks the Scot Tartan crafted by Jackson. The more I wear it, the better it feels. The fit and finish are excellent!

I noticed David on Friday night because of the rosette he had on his bonnet. He crafted it himself out of ribbon and it is even finer live than the pictures show.
    Thoroughly enjoyed talking with him.

I would add that Tom made his very nice sporran, complete with carved, silver painted clan crest. And that it isn't that I'm so short... Tom is very tall.
