| | | Thanks so much, Steve
I purchased some remnants from Fraser and Kirkbright quite some months ago. I had the first piece fashioned (BC tartan) fashioned into a USA semi-traditional by Rocky. I've mentioned this one before and have pictures posted.
I finally scraped together enough money to have the second piece (Macbitseach tartan) sewn into a dress model by Steve. I also asked if he could make it in time for our staff Christmas party. Steve said he would be able to do so. Not only did he make it on time, he fashioned an exquisite garment. The craftsmanship is outstanding! It looks superb and was quite a hit at the party.
I just wanted to publicly thank Steve for his great skill and excellent customer service. I was quite stunned to pick up the phone at work only to hear Steve on the other end. He wanted to let me know that he'd shipped the kilt. That sort of touch is extremely uncommon in today's electronic world.
I've already sent him a money order for a Rocker/Indie kilt. Just have to send him the measurements now.
For any who are waffling about whether or not to get a Freedom Kilt, I'd like to suggest you not give it a second thought. Steve conducts business in the manner in which it should be conducted.
Thanks again Steve.

Photos, we want photos!!!
'cause I forgot to take any because I was worried about getting it to you on time.
I'm glad you like the kilt. It was fun doing it.
Don't show it to Bear though. It's his Tartan and I'm pretty sure I am the first "not Bear" kiltmaker to do one. He might get mad at me.

Awesome. Good to know of this... even though he has quite the reputation for such. This sort of thing certainly sways my decisions.

In an effort to avoid the problems that plagued me last time, I've already attempted photos. Not actually wearing the thing, mind you, since nobody is here to take the photos. I've got it lying out on the bed. Got out the new digital camera I got my wife for Christmas. My media reader evidently doesn't read her memory card. Then proceeded to get out the old digital camera to take a picture. However, the batteries were dead but are charging even as I write this.
Hopefully sometime this evening I'll have something up. And at some point when there's someone around to take the pictures, I'll actually be wearing it.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I don't think Steve knows how to do anything but first rate! I hope you really enjoy the new piece!

We need pics StoneCold, if it is anything like the Xmarks kilt Steve made for himself it will undoubtedly be incredible.
