    It won't be long!

I spoke to Steve and my first FK is about completed and ready for shipping, great news!

This kilt is going to be interesting for me, I'm still fairly new to plain kilts, I have a lovely green wool kilt from RKilts, a great green PV semi from USAK, now this one which is a lovely blue.

It is really a bold step for me, having up until a few months ago been a confirmed tartan only gut (this forum corrupted me).

Naturally, I'll post piccies and a review when I can.

    Graham,

Did you get the Cargo or Casual? What material?

I ordered a Casual in True Olive a few weeks ago. Steve says I'll see it just after the first of the year. After all I've heard about Freedom Kilts, I'm really looking forward to this one.

Graham's Kilt is a casual model in Navy Blue Poly/Cotton.

This is the first Kilt I've done with only one pocket. Graham asked for one side slash pocket on the right side.

It's not unusual for people to ask for no pockets and that is why I offer the options, but one pocket, that's a new one.

Mowgli, as soon as I get to the shop this morning, I'll check where you are on the order board and post here this evening.

Could be because you are upside down over in Tasmania, Graham. It creates a different thought process

Now I'm starting to phone the post office every day to see if it's here. I know it's close, Steve did warn me that shipping would be slower this time of year. Our post office also said that was true. They know I'm waiting for a kilt and will most likely phone me to say it's arrived.

Still, I wake in hope daily, this is terrible! I'll have another dram and go to bed:-(

    Ahh Graham,

You are SOOOOO hooked on this solid kilt already. Addiction knows no bounds.

You're gonna love Steve's craftsmanship and the freedom to wear wild and crazy shirts, tartan shirts, aloha shirts, et.al. with your solid kilt.

Its a whole new party, enjoy!!
