Male sex slaves in Scotland? Unbelievable!

As reported in the Daily Record, men have been trafficked into Glasgow for use as sex slaves. For some reason it's difficult to believe this is happening in Scotland of all countries.

That's pretty bad, but when they catch the traffickers they will claim that somehow their human rights are being violated, they will have expensive court cases which they'll win, and remain in the country at tax payer expense.

This comment also reminds me of Filipina, Indonesian and other female nationals brought into Saudi Arabia as maids. Too many also are duped and suffer cruelty and harrassment (often sexual) at the hands of local employers without chance to leave (their passports are taken from them on arrival). But that's brushed under the international carpet because the Saudis are "our friends".

Ya, Lachlan09, this does go on all over the world. The artical discusses that there are women in the same situation in Scotland. It also discusses that this is not really associated with the gay comunity in Scotland...

Another side of all of this is when a man, who is gay, marries a woman, for example, and does not disclose his orientation. She finds out later, even after having children, and the whole world is a wreck for her. I know a few ladies who have gone through this.

Somewhere on the web, I saw an artical stating that one in five gay people in Scotland have children, possibly in this way.
