1 year
Today (tomorrow if you go by date) it been 1 year since I bought my first kilt.
What a year it has been. Found out my mom has deep rooted issues regarding kilts, got 2 more (no longer counting the thrifty, the pleats are beyond my skill to resurrect.) and 2 more for my son. Began the process of buying a house...
The funny thing is yesterday my eldest son told me to wear my black kilt today. Didn't relize until today that it was a year to the day that I got it, though I rarely wear it (as in, since last January) it would seem that today is a fitting day.

It's weird, having the $130 'wool' kilt from the ren fest on. It feels so very light. Lighter than my acrylic SWK's. But in some ways, it feels better put together. I still have my issues with it, but hey. I might consider buying again from the vendor, if he admits it Paki and not Scottish made. I have my reasons to believe he lied to me. But knowing the truth is a grand ol weapon.
