    The French Sept

    Well friends,

This is my 2,000 th post.

    Amazing how time goes by.

I would like to thank the moderators of course but also all XMarkers for their patience with my strange English.

I am well aware that I sometimes sound dry, cold or distant and other times almost hysterical.

This is all due to English not being my first language.

I'm much better in writing French !

Today is a brand new day here on XMTS ! So, if you'll excuse me, I'll go back to the forum's threads to read, learn and share.

    Best,

    Robert

Well done Robert, I really do enjoy your posts and pictures. Your English is at least as good as mine-------if not better! Lol.

Congratulations Robert. I have always looked forward to reading your posts as you see things with a 'European' eye. Viva la Difference. (Is that right?)

    Regards

Congratulations on the milestone, Robert. Your use of English is every bit as wonderful as the content of your posts. And they are among the highlights of this forum.

    regards

It is our pleasure to have you and Lady Chrystel among our ranks. Catherine was just commenting that you could not tell that English was a second language for you. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all that you bring to XMarksthescot, it would not be the same here without you. You have shown the world the best of what it means to be an XMarker. Félicitations.

And I really enjoy your posts, especially the ones showing your beautiful mountain home.
