WTG Katie!
Our youngest daughter has been training at school with her classmates for a bowling tournament with students from another nearby school. She was so happy when she got off the bus, wearing a medal she'd apparently earned today! I am just so proud of her, I could burst.

Close up of the medal, and yes the color does appear to be bronze.

Katie showing off her achievement.
She asked me to make her some celebratory enchiladas for dinner, and as she seemed pleased when Mickey taught her to sign for them as "red burritos", I just couldn't refuse!
For me, there is nothing in this world that holds the same fascinating appeal as watching the backside of well kilted man...

That's awesome!
But acheivements like that are only half as fulfilling if you don't have supportive parents. You and Mickey should be proud not only of your great kids, but yourselves as well! I do dig your family.
My congratulations to Katie!

The (almost) best part of an achievement is seeing mom and dad beam with enthusiasm.

Re: WTG Katie!
Thanks folks
I know it doesn't mean anything to her, just another weird necklace that she doesn't like, but I think it's pretty cool. She does roll pretty good
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man

Re: WTG Katie!
Oh, you didn't see her smile when she got off the bus, I think she was pretty pleased with herself. Not sure who had a goofier grin there for awhile, me or her. By the time we both recovered, it occurred to me that I needed to get a picture.
I just took the medal and hung it up so it wouldn't get lost...or accidentally dipped in enchilada sauce or something.

Congratulations, hope the enchiladas are good.
