    Kilt Inspector

If you don’t have this beer in your hand, don’t even *think* of asking to inspect under my kilt. 🤓

Sorry, that is photoshopped, and frankly, in very poor taste.

I would have hoped that we were better than this.

Not to be rude, but I have to politely disagree, using facts.

Fossil, I didn’t mean to repeat you there; you must have posted just as I was pulling my post together. Thank you for the backup research though!

The label is slightly in poor taste, though the ww2 story along the side of the can in interesting. In 7 years of living in finger lakes region and 20 years in central NY I've not heard of the brand either good or bad so probably not worth going to any great lengths to get. Personally if I wanted a NY scotch ale I'd go with Rohrbachs in Rochester, that's one that'll satisfy.

    this is why...

The reason the Wizard says it is in bad taste, at least I think, is that the officer to the Queen's right, our left, has his apron pulled tight across his knees so that the camera can see up under it. All of the other officers have their aprons down between their knees. There is also a version of the picture that has some extra naughty bits photoshopped in for the officer to the Queen's right.

I’ve seen both the original and the photoshopped photos.

But the pic on the can isn’t the photoshopped version. The gap between the soldier’s legs has been darkened. There’s nothing to see. It’s just a silly joke like many craft beers have for their names.

Maybe folks shouldn’t be in such a rush to get offended.

I beg to differ. Perhaps folks should be in a rush to behave like ladies and gents of Xmarks, which is how we expect our members to behave.
