    4 Sporrans in one

I own one sporran. I don't really wear them when I wear my kilts, but taking a cue from other members on this forum, I though that I might try a few things to make my sporran a little more versatile.
I have just a plain black day sporran. I went to the local fabric store and purchased some faux wolf fun fur.
Here is how it turned out:

I just attached the fur with removable glue dots so I can still take the fur off and have a leather sporran.
That brings me to 2 sporrans.
Last night I attached some chain and an antler tip to make a pin lock for the sporran. It looks great, but sadly I have no pictures I will try to get some up tomorrow. Now I can have a leather sporran with pin lock or a fur sporran with pin lock. Total now 4!!
The military stud closing system of the day sporran helped.

Looks good! It will go nicely with your MacArthur!!

I like the wolf...mine is more like an acryli-beaver or acryli-bunny (shades of brown)! It certainly was a fun project!

(I just did the same thing with an extra SWK band sporran. I think it turned out pretty nicely, I did it for fun/something to do besides school...it was a sporran I was hoping to sell...SO, if anyone wants a lovely acrylibeast sporran hand crafted by nuns in Michigan, let me know...it is still up for grabs! Photos pending Sister J's schedule...she's a very busy lady!).

Well you've anticipated me Sara. I'm working on some templates now for a formal cantle to casual leather and/or fur flaps Snap-Flap sporran. What you've put tgether looks really nice. Let's see all 4 looks.

Thank you all for the nice complements. I got to leave work early due to bad weather, so I came home and got my old computer running just so I could post these. (Yes I am a little insane )

Ok for Turpin and everyone else:
    Look one- Black Day Sporran

Look two-Black Day Sporran with antler pin lock

    Look three-with fur

    Look four-fur with pin lock

I may switch out the brass for a silver chain. I just thought that the brass would look nice with the MacArthur. (I might have 6 sporran looks by the end of this project!) I am going to look around some jewelry stores for a proper topper and connector for the antler piece.
    Thanks Again,
    Sara
