    Argyle Cuffs

    Hi Friends,

I have a jacket that I am converting. So I want to add argyle cuffs. Can anyone measure their cuffs and let me know the dimensions. I need to see if I have enough material to make the cuffs.

    Thanks,

I thought these photos might help, the Argyll is from Harris Tweed, I measured my other two as well and the results were the same.

    Wow, Thanks McMurdo.
From your dimensions, it looks like the cuff is twice as long on the outside of the are cuff as the inside. (3" vs. 6")?

Yes something like that you could do a 3"-6" or a 4"-6" I suppose.

One of the pictures that I scaled had 4.5" and 9". I twas a pattern so I was not sure if part of the cuff is used on the inside.

I would think you might want a bit to go inside so the cuff looks more finished.
