Converting a sportcoat to a Crail jacket
This morning my lovely and very talented wife began to convert one of my older sportcoats to a Crail. It was a navy blue jacket that is a GREAT match for my new USA Kilts US Navy tartan semitrad from Rocky (that's another story on good service).
My lovely wife will be finished as soon as the epaullets are attached. She will be proudly at my side, as I am kilted, when we attend church services tomorrow morning.
Photos will be posted by Monday evening showing off the new kilt and Crail.

Wonderful. I just finished a similar job with a sport coat I scored from Salvation Army for $3.78. I intend to post pictures as soon as I can get them taken. I am looking forward to seeing yours!

Congratulations, that sounds great.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Can't wait to see pics on Monday. I just picked up a genuine Harris Tweed jacket for $7.50 which will be my first conversion attempt. By the way, Ted, it feels very different to everything else that was on the racks at my local thrift store.

With my lovely wife, Dorothy, who put in the time to convert the sportcoat to a Crail. All in all she said it took her between 2 and 3 hours. She is a very accomplished seamstress and tailor.

I tried the same thing I'm not sure why either, I'd just go back to the URL coding

Jamie,
Thank you. It was all due to the skill of my lovely wife. The only questions she had were answered by the posting of the Braemar conversion done by F-H.C.A.G.
I think we are both lucky to have wives that skilled.
