A couple of targes I've made.

When I attended the Loch Norman Games this past April I saw a targe in one of the clan tents and fell instantly in love. So I stated doing some research on them and decided to try and make one for myself. To date I've made three total, and I have two more under construction.

The first two images are the front and back of the targe I've made for myself.

Both targes have tooled leather on the front and hair-on hide for the back. This was probably one of the most satisfying projects I've ever done. I also made the sporran that is in these photos.

The next two images are of my most recent targe.

Those are both just amazing. Very good work and attention to detail.

Don't forget to wander over to the new members forum and tell us more about yourself.

Sweet doesn't cover it. I been around Ren Fairs most of my life and I will say those are the best examples I've seen.
