    Croc sporran

OK, so today was a VERY slow day as it is Thanksgiving and the only people on the base were me and two duty officers in the EOC.

I took advantage of the free time to assemble a sporran I've been planning.
I layered a croc printed cowhide on top of some black leather and then used a lining of this satiny suede like material that matches a tie I like almost exactly (in color only).
Here's the components and the ties. I ended up using the right color. The shiny pleather was for the trim on the flap and inner lip.

The finished project. The bellow is from a reclaimed SWK economy sporran I got from the Thistle Box.

The interior. Notice the row of red stitching on the inner lip. The magnet clasp holds very well.

The back. I used the same red stitching to put on the strap loop. It's almost camouflaged in this pic.

The interior. I think the lining came out well. It changes color a little in direct light.
