    Smile Dandelion Crown

    OK crafty people - here's something to make for your lady on summer occasions. Southeastern Alaska appears to have an abundance of large dandelions during the warm season.

    If dandelions grew that big around here, I'd sow my whole yard with them and enjoy the blooms!
    That looks like a variation on a daisy chain. I like the way you wrapped the stems around each other.

    Maybe we should elect a "Queen of the Order" who could wear that crown.

    lovely! And to think my other half has me uprooting them from the garden every weekend...

    When I was young and lived in the rural Cotswolds, they were called "p*ss-a-beds". This is an old English name, after the fact that the white sap in the stem is such a powerful diuretic! The Society of the P*ss-a-bed doesn't sound quite so attractive...
