    DIY attempt number 4

I finally finished the pleats tonight. I figured I go ahead and post before it's done work in progress style. Buccleuch tartan PV from Marton Mills. I could have cut some of the fabric out for fewer pleats but I'm not a fan of waste. I paid for all 8 meters so I'm using all 8 meters. More pics to come with more progress...

There are a few waves but the centers are still centered. You have to really examine it to see it. I'm hoping no one will be looking at my ass that closely to be able to see it.

The sett is so small that I felt I could only pleat this one to the stripe. I was focused while sewing the pleats. I haven't done much else to it since finishing the pleats. I think I've sewn half of the join. I need to find my motivation again. Thank you for the kind words.

    Nice work, and lovely colours.

No need to apologise for not wasting any fabric.

There is a long history of frugality to live up to when making 'ethnic' garments.
