Good news for starting the day !
My excellent wife Chrystel in making me a double pleated kilt

Nice plaid, eh? Just for reference, the Hunting Mackinnon was for years the choice of the Hudson's Bay Co. dressing gowns. I grew up with one not knowing it was my own 'family's' tartan!

Has anyone on the forum ever posted photos and reviews of a double box-pleated kilt? I'm very interested in how this style holds up in normal usage.

WooHoo, more MacKinnon's on the board. I am also looking forward to how it comes out. I have a 8 yard tank in MacKinnon Hunting ancient....

Eleven months ago, Wompet took some pics of a double box pleat kilted skirt owned by a family member. Maybe he could post one or two. Or, with his permission, I could.
