Oh holy.....
OK, I am going to start the search for the right tartan. Robert, good Sir, I shall PM you.
PS. I love the "action" shot, by the way!

The elegant way would be for you to get the fabric shipped directly to our house in France. The cost for the making would then be of $200. + shipping (registered oversea mail etc.)
best,

Okay Robert, I've got more than a few things/projects to take care of first, but later in the year we'll have to see what I can work out!

Now that is NICE......oh yeah. That's a one-of-a-kind!
VERY nice job, Lady Chrystal!
I'd love to see a double box-pleat done in the Jacobite Tartan, one that would be very very appropriate for a Frenchman, or French woman, to wear!

I have discovered, just this morning, a recent (5 generations) ancestor from France, a member of the Mabile Family. Now, to work that into a Lady Chrystel Kilt somehow!

As I have said before, Robert, that is a brilliant kilt! I have recently got my grubby hands on 5 yards of MacDonnell of Keppoch tartan, which will be my new belted plaid. I am thrilled!!! So, the 5 yards of MacEwan that I was using as my belted plaid will now be used for a box pleat. I was planning to sew a knife pleat, but after seeing your box pleat, I am completely sold on box pleats. I still have the Hunting Stewart in knife pleats, so I will have a great selection from which to chose!
Slainte!

Lady Chrystel has outdone herself again. Robert, you are a most fortunate man to have a resident kiltmaker, sporran maker, expert knitter, etcetera. What a brilliant result!
