    Feltwork.

So. I got a bit inspired when Robert posted this. I thought that something like that would only be cool if a lady had a bag to match. So, I made a bag as a little project. It started off very, very large and wound up just the right size for a little tote. It is still drying and a bit fuzzy, it needs to be brushed to get the fuzz and the lint off.

I am rather proud of my self and my blossing felting skills. Pink is not my colour, and I certainly wouldn't be caught dead wearing this, but I am damn proud that I managed to make it work, and I think I made it look pretty good.

The bottom has a couple of gaps in it I think, the next bag I do I already have figured out how to improve the design... But I think with the next bag or two I could make a bag that is mostly waterproof. Maybe. Aside from ladies purses, I could see a bag in a camo print yarn being nice for outdoorsy stuff (hung off the belt) or maybe even pouches for reenactors.

I value your opinion me amigo... But I'd really love an opinion from the ladies of XMarks. They have style.

Dread...pink isn't my color either, but I like it, alot. Great job!
Now, if it was in green and dark blue, I'd grab it;)

Not an Xlady, but since my wife seems to think I have a very good handle on my femenine side...especially with my newfound love of all things kiltish. Her exact words were. "You're becoming a bigger clothes whore then I am."

ANYWAY, I like it, very creative Dread.

And for the record, I love the pink leather kilt as well.

That's some really cool felting there.
My fiance recently made a similar felted bag entirely from odds and edns left from knitting projects, but this pink is really cool.

I have a tiny little blue pouch I am working on now. Would look awesome I think with renfaire garb or reenactor type stuff.

I'd like to perfect this process and make them waterproof, sturdy, and maybe even nice looking.

Zee blue bag. This one turned out kinda small. I like it. Would probably make a nice little renfaire type tote or something. I am getting better at this whole process though. My wife likes this one a lot.
