I found some online tutorials for wet molding leather and made myself a sheath for my dirk that I actually like. I had done 2 others, and was never really satisfied with the results. Here's the one that I like!!
Also, my son and I collaborated on a project- a primitive style stitching awl. He forged the needle from an old garage door spring, and I made the handle and leather cover, which I think I'm going to remake. Here it is, in all it's primitive splendor!
And now, it's late... So off to bed!
