Finally, X-Kilt #1 done
Ok, finally finished getting the snaps on my 1st xkilt, and got a friend to take a pic. (Sorry, no pleats shot tonight)
For this one, I used green bull denim, and antique snaps. I learned the snaps don't like going through 4 layers of bull denim.

Good for you! I wish I had sewing skills. And is that David Hasselhoff on the TV behind you? The Hoff rules!!

The kilt looks good. You look possessed.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

It was a long day, and my phone doesn't always take the best pictures. My friend was goingto use her camera, but it wouldn't turn on. When I get #2 done, a pleat shot will be mandatory.

The XKilt is my 3rd kilt. And, I still don't have a traditional one. I'm still waiting on yarn selection, and yardage to be ordered for that. After I get those, I plan on an 8yd reverse kingusse. Will see what I pleat it to.

Even though the picture is a bit dark, it still looks good. Congrats!

As a dreamer of dreams, and a travelin' man, I have chalked up many of miles, read dozens of books about heros and crooks and learned much from both of their styles.
