Handforged Cross Pendants for Men and Women

I finally got started on making a few crosses, cut from sheet copper.

Back during the winter, Matt Newsome encouraged me to make at least one cross that is larger than the crosses that one usually finds in shops, so the biggest of the three measures 2.5 x 1.75 inches.

I have enjoyed making these so much that I am going to make a few more!

Crosses, copper, three sizes, shapes, and textures.

A forged loop will accomodate either a chain or a cord.

Wow!!! Fantastic pieces, Mark! Before I scrolled all the way down and saw the nickle, I assumed they were quite a bit bigger. You do some very fine work!

Beautiful work, Mark. I've admired your belt buckles at the Museum gift shop site and these are just as nice. I'd wear any of them gladly.

As part of my re-enactment guild, in September at the Pleasanton Highland Games, I will be knighted and will need a personal knighting cross. Any of those pictured would be perfect (especially the "pebble grain" finished one.

Thanks to all for your compliments.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that that Matt Newsome will like these enough to offer them for sale at The Scotish Tartans Museum and Gift Shop.

Email me (chickenmag at yahoo dot com) and I will keep in touch.

These are really fantastic. I like that they show off the rustic and handmade look without looking "home-made" if you know what I mean.
