    Hose Garter

Others were talking about knitting their own garters and I'd said I'd try using Tunisian Crochet to make a pair. I've only got one done but I'd like some feedback. I'm not sure if I like it or will try something different.

For your consideration and critique, please.

I like the garter tie Chris and I like the colour too. The best thing about homemade goods such as this is that they are individual. Even if they are not as perfect as machine made, they look good and I doubt if anyone is ever going to go down on all fours to examine your garter ties. Well done

    Very well done.

Just me, I like the tassle to look a little "fuller" or "fluffier". Would it be hard to add extra threads of yarn just to the tassle?

Looks great, I would agree with Calico though. Maybe try unwinding the ends to see if it "fluffs up."

Okay, taking your thought into consideration, I've made a second one and put more tassel on it. I think it looks better (now that I see the two together, what was I thinking?!). The new is on the left with the first beside for comparison.

Thanks, Chris. Yep, seeing them together I do like the new version better.

So, when do you start on the lovat blue and loden green sets?

Lovat blue was what I was actually looking for when I found this (ancient) red. As soon as I can get my hands on a skein of that..! I'll post when I've got them done.
