    The Hound sgian

    Here's my latest two efforts:
    This one is stained cypress carved into a Celtic hunting hound's head, with etched stainless blade. Once the sheath is finished, I'll probably put this one on Ebay & see how it goes.





    Made this one for the young guy who works for us. It's Red deer antler between gidgee, with mallee burl spacers & an acrylic "stone". The blade is etched with the MacKay motto.

    The hounds head is BEAUTIFUL. wow, I'm stunned. I've never seen anything like that...maybe you could make a Welsh one with a dragon head?
