Just in time for Halloween!
When you leave a mad man, a needle and thread, and a bunch of leather scraps alone together it can only result in the most unholy and monstrous of creations....
FRANKENSPORRAN!!!!

This is my first attempt at sporran making, and I like the frugal nature of raiding a leather scrap box for the materials. I used a roll of paper towel for my sizing and pattern, and everything else was done by eye. I'm in the process of dyeing it all black and will post pics of the completed product soon.

Here it is with 98% of the finishing touches put on.

All that is let now is to find a nice decorative piece for the front of the flap.

Really good first effort - the next couple of dozen will be even easier.

I like the rustic approach to most things, but I must admit to being pleased with how it turned out. Especially since I used several scraps of leather and a roll of paper towel for sizing.

Any trouble with the dye bleeding? Would hate to ruin a kilt!

It's a heck of a lot better than anything I could do. Congrats on it.
