kilt buckles

Hi Barbara and others,

What is the proper way to build-in the buckles on the kilt ?

On the left : should it be hidden by the belt ?
On the right : 1 or 2 buckles ?

My personal preference is to have the left buckle kind of hidden by the belt, and I definitely prefer 2 buckles on the right instead of one. Just my opinion though. I believe most of my kilts are that way so that's probably why I prefer it.

It's kind of like the "Did you grow up on Mac or PC?" debate. If you grew up on a mac, you prefer Mac's. If you grew up on a PC you prefer PC's. I just know what I'm used to.

Hi,
The buckles should be at the waist which is usually 2" down from the top of the kilt. In this position the kilt belt should cover the buckles.

I do not like the second kilt buckle on the apron. It restricts the under and over apron from sliding when you sit.
