Kilt Hose Giveaway

We now have 18 members so we know you are wanting to knit your own kilt hose, I am writing the pattern, so that we begin in March. I have set up a group at yahoo so I can keep the members in the same place. I should have the wool for the kits by the end of this week, I myself and giving the pair I knit away to anyone who comments on my threads, Your names will be put in a hat and one name picked out before I start knitting so I get the winner's sizes.
Once again I hope it is OK to post this.

That's quite generous of you! This should be a fun project to follow. I personally have no idea how to knit, but I do enjoy group activities.

Come on jump in! I haven't knitted since I was probably 10... I went out and bought a cheap beginners kit from Walmart and am relearning. Even if my first pair do not come out so great, I'll atleast be learning something new lol.

OK I have a yahoo account. I will be joining but I knit very slowly due to a pinched nerve and thick fingers.

I joined the Yahoo group on behalf of my mother (she hates computers). She just started knitting again after many many years. SHe has knitted a couple of pairs of kilt hose for me. I like them but she thinks she can do better. I will pass on the info to her. Thanks again for starting the group and good luck !
