Beautiful work! I really like the FTL knot (what's that stand for? I have no idea)... and the key.

Thanks everyone,
I usually just think them up, but in some cases I might see something, like a skeleton key. I get on a "kick" until I get bored with it. As of now its keys. I am planning on making different styles of keys using different types and colors of wood. We'll see how that goes.
Thanks again.

Thanks,
FTL..From The Limb, it kind of like a signature, or logo if you will.
It is one of the few knots I do more than a few times.

Heres a few I just finished. I am trying to do one for every kilt I own ( yeah right, I could have stopped a long time ago ) These are done with flash, then without:
First up is one I called "Air" ( I am not sure why I name certain items the way I do, so you can ask...but the answer may change from time to time)

"Flame" :

"Harp" :

"Nessie" :

And the last one is one I try to do with every group, My FTL Knot:

Thanks for looking.

"Air" looks like the current Olympic torch, the one carried by the runners.

"Flame" is really cool!

Um...do you sell these at all...?

A great marriage of creativity and craftsmanship. These should look particularly good with green-based 'hunting' tartans and day-wear tweeds. If you ever run out of inspiration, have a look at the Lindisfarne Gospels or the Book of Kells. Keep the pictures coming.
