    ladies oxfords

I just finished these...for the missus...and being pretty proud of them, I thought I would share the photos:

Kangaroo (the green) and French calf (the tan). Inch and a quarter heel, fiddleback waist. Something like this (maybe not the green?) would look good on a woman wearing a kilt, IMO.

    Fabulous!

I used to fantasize about having a pair of boots made by Charlie Dunn (RIP). Now you've revived my foot fantasy life LOL

If they had a regular heel and were in a 13EEE, I'd wear them with a kilt!

Oh, DW! Why do you torment me so?! Another beautiful job.

    Regards,

    Those sound very nice, DWFII.

Didn't you make some shoes a while back that had buckles across the instep?

For some reason, I am on that wave length right now.

    Rex,

Nice as your legs are, those heels are simply not going to work for you

    DWFII,

I have to applaud your craftsmanship

    Those are simply wonderful

I too am always amazed at your craftsmanship. Absolutely stunning.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words. .

    Rex,

Because I have a streak of cruelty deep in my heart.

    Sydnie,

I've seen and admired Charlie's stuff. Have a peep at my picture album. Or my website. (when it gets back up, that is )

    Ted,

Yes, of course. How could I be a kilted shoemaker and not have a pair of buckle shoes? Want to see them again? Look at my Picture Album.
