Thanks very much guys! Definitely my best one so far. Just doing jackets is becoming an addiction.

I actually tried to make a scalloped pocket, but I wasn't having much luck getting it to come out even, at least doing them by hand. But I really like how the drop point came out and may start doing them on my next ones.

I've a question about conversions regarding length...

where should the bottom of the jacket come in relation to your body?

Thanks Neil,
I use the rule that the bottom edge of the jacket should not fall below the sewn down portion of the kilt pleats. I may give or take an inch on this depending on how it looks.

A good rule of thumb would be the widest part of your hips, which all things being equal would be about the same location as Mickey said
