Latest Sgian Dubh
Here's my latest DIY project. An antler sgian with silver fittings and a tiger's eye stone. I got a nice scrap piece of alligator hide from the folks at my local Tandy store for the sheath.

WOW. Wonderful work, wear it in good health.

Beautiful. Outstanding work.

Very, very nice. Is that a Damascus steel blade, too? It's a little hard to read on my monitor, but it looks like it.
Beautiful work!

New that is a grrreat sgian!
Really like the way the leather is braided and the corners are set with brads.
Nice work! (does the tang of the blade reach the hilt?)

It is a damascus blade. The tang goes in about half the length of the handle. The antler has a natural curve that fits my leg.
