Cut in half for an 8 yd. kilt, that would be less than $18/yard!

I believe that's a bargain if you are in the position to make a kilt for have one made with your own wool.

I'm still pretty new to all this but I tend to see most fabric in double width. So the way I'd look at it is as $141/4yards= $35.25/yard. Although I haven't searched around for heavy weight military tartan so maybe it usually comes in single width. Still a great bargain!
