Maple Leaf PV on Ebay - over it
Having read Wompet's dealings with the woman selling Maple Leaf tartan on Ebay, having oredered a few metres myself I copied and pasted his comments to said woman. After a month and now several "woe is me, I don't have the fabric, I'll go get some, etc.." I've given up. I requested my money back as she apparently has no intention of living up to her part of the deal.
Lesson learned, when I get ready to attempt my Maple Leaf, I'll just go to Gordon Kirkbright.
Auctioning off something you don't have is just stupid.
CT - and yes, Ebay has heard the whole thing now.

Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come. --William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

The Kilt Police may have missed this one CT, but I'm sure the Kilt Gods will catch up to her.

CT - Sorry to hear it. Not surprised, but sorry to hear it.
The Maple Leaf is a few projects down my list, but I really only need a single width. You're welcome to the extra width if it's usable (I still have to check out the entire length for defects).
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

Sorry to hear it. I can say that, while they're slow, Ebay usually makes it right... eventually...

WHY do people do things like this? I mean, there's no point. You get the bad karma and the stigma of being a cheat, you know in your heart that you're cheating people, and for what? ...a few tens of dollars? It's just stupid.
