    Good on you. Mouth-watering. Did you put oats and onions in with the meat when you baked it?
    Yes, and no. I did put onions and oats in (both steel-cut and rolled) along with pepper, rosemary, and thyme, but I didn't bake it. I boiled the sucker for almost 4 hours. I was worried that it might come out soggy, but it was perfect! Of course, the whiskey gravy drizzled over the entire plate was wonderful.
    Scotland is only 1/5 the size of Montana, but Scotland has over 3,000 castles and Montana has none.
