    My new DIY sporran.

Its not quite traditional and not quite modern. Its a cross between a Britt sporran and another one I saw on the forum. Its elk hide with a caribou tine button. So what does the Rabble think?

I think it looks nice, and will serve it's purpose well.

looks good, but be careful with unfinished leather in that light color. If you spill your lunch on it, it will be stained forever.

MAN that rocks! But its true-watch for stains! Check out putting some protective rub on it. It'll darken it, but it still will look awesome. I'm loving the angles!

Thanks a lot guys!!! Yeah I'm gonna treat it really well with something to protect it. I wouldnt mind it getting darker truthfully. Hey NorCal do you have something that you use specifically for that?

That's a pretty cool sporran. I can see the influence of the "old west" sporran that popped up a while back. Nice job and good choice of skin. I like elk...not as much as buffalo but pretty close.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

I really like it. The color is a little too light for my taste, but overall a job well done.
