    New sgians in progress

    Well, the new timber is all the fun I thought it'd be. Here's numbers 6,7, 8 & 9 in progress:

    Beefwood, copper, acrylic & etched stainless:





    Mallee burl, acrylic & etched stainless:




    Red deer antler crown, Culloden bog oak (thanks again Rab) & antiqued forged carbon:


    Sheoak & acrylic. This will have a polished carbon blade & probably fitted out more formally:

    More reaction here than on British Blades, I guess there is a limited appreciation for a sgian. I really like the forged blade. I'll be watching for future reports.
