    Newest Kilt

    Hello Rabble.
    Here are a couple pictures of my newest kilt.
    Just finished this one tonight.

    I like the effect of the blue fabric behind the black. Well done.

    It seems you try it very early in the morning, just after finish it (dark).

    Interesting sporran.

    How do you make two-colored kilt? Are you sew the stripes of two fabric?

    Actually it was about 10 at night when the pictures were taken.

    The colored pleats are sewn into the material where I will be pleating it.
    The inserts go just up to the bottom of the fell line.
    It is kind of a pain, and a lot of extra work, but I really like the looks of it and am pretty happy with how this one turned out.

    Yes, I agree that is a awsome kilt.
    I would like 'a how to' on this one as I have my own ideas (flames).

    Sweet! A kilt like that would look really cool in a sports teams colors ..... in say, Flyers orange and black? Black Kilt and Orange inserts with a team logo for a kilt pin ... now that would work.
