    Prince Charlie Conversion

    Check this out...
    http://www.worldwidetuxedos.com/item573107.ctlg
I've got this coming to me and I intend to convert it to a Prince Charlie knockoff. I figure some buttons and a vest (which I can replace buttons on, or make from scratch if need be) and it should look pretty good.
It's wool and it sure beats paying the high price of the real thing. I figured I pass along the opportunity if anyone wants one too.

Excellent! I found a waist coat a little while back and it worked out very well. Somewhere here there was a thread on the buttons with plenty of links.

    Oh, it's a jacket...

...I was going to say that it's a bit late to convert the Bonnie Prince from Catholicism...

Ah, the spencer Waistcoat. Thhis should work very well.

I have purchased celtic-style pewter buttons from ebay seller "treasure cast" in the past and been quite happy. Panache has also purchased celtic buttons online.
