    Purse to Sporran

In a previous thread We discussed the pro’s and cons of wearing a purse as a sporran. Yesterday I found Fox Faces for around 6 bucks, so now I want to attach one to the front of my purse. I am looking for suggestions on the best way to do this.

Fox faces? You've got to be kidding?

Please don't! I can't think of anything more hideous.
    Best Regards John

As to the OP, sorry but I have no idea how to do that. I do, however, think it can look good if done properly. Good luck and post final pictures!

At the risk of sounding like a party pooper, I think a woman's purse covered with a fox face is going to be a terrible stand-in for a proper sporran. Why not save up the money spent on fox faces and purses (and the gas and postage spent acquiring them) and buy a
proper sporran? Either that or acquire the necessary leather-working skills to make one?

Yeah...as much as I tend towards the diy and make do column....getcha some tools and books...follow the work of blokes like artificer...do it right...you will be mich more satisfied in the end.
Cannot describe how satisfying it is to receive compliments from the public at large..esp. from ladies who sew when out and about in something I have made.
