    Quilted cloak

    A few pics of the quilted cloak Red_Raven_Studios made for the camp out we just got back from...

    This was the first real sewing on the new machine. all in all a nice machine, but leave it to me to break it twice doing the cloak. I think my repair guys comment was "Wow that was a once in a life time"...(I did it twice). but seems to be working great now...next chrome scolars jacket and kilt.
    What's another name for Irish sunblock...?

    Beautiful! Particularly with the triskel ornamentation, it looks a bit like a cope:

    Thank you for the complements..been a while since I have done any real sewing.(I don't count fixing my kids clothes as real sewing). It was a fun project. Have a few details to finish but am otherwise happy with it.
    What's another name for Irish sunblock...?

    good posibility..but I'd have to make 2 or ChromeScholar and my kid would have to duke out who got it. This was close as the hood lays down simular to the inverness
