    Saffron Kilt wool material

Spotted this on ebay. I thought it looked like a good deal for a DIY'er

Yep, it was me. As soon as I saw scotchmaster's post I went to eBay and bought it. I've been looking for some saffron cloth for a tartan for a while.

That's what I get for not spending every waking moment in XMtS!

Having seen your last handmade kilt, I know this one will look great.

The obscure we see eventually. The completely obvious, it seems, takes longer.

I missed it, but there was a link to some supposed 18 oz Robertson that I'm watching now.
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

I think that's the same seller. He was watching the auction when I bought the saffron and it's already in the post. That's quick work.

It promises to be a bit harder than a patterned cloth as the will be no easy way to keep things lined up. I suspect that I'm going to be using a lot of pins
